An eco-epidemiological model with social predation subject to a component Allee effect

Allee effect plays important roles in social species’ survival, invasion and evolution. The dynamical characteristics of populations incorporating component infectious disease remain unclear. In this paper, we propose an eco-epidemiological model prey predator interactions with assumptions that (1) has cooperative behavior hunting prey; (2) experiences generated from limited mating; (3) can spread among predators. Our proposed is novel to study the joint effects behavior, mating limitation predator. We first investigate dynamics disease-free four cases based on whether predators have mate or cooperation as well one- two-parameter bifurcations. Analytical results show introduction generates a strong Hopf bifurcation. It found increasing reasonable region stabilizes system, but excessive limiting strength would lead coexistence equilibrium go extinction. also predator-prey presence disease. theoretical result shows always predator-extinction which locally stable. then explore how affect transmissibility save disease-driven extinction disappear system when coefficient large, while it drives die out if small. indicate exhibits rich complex dynamic behaviors. interesting findings provide more perspectives protection control communities.
